Make sure to check back and read some of the stories of your fellow battlers. Leave comments to encourage these writers. And go a step further in supporting one another by sharing each other’s stories on your own blog or social media, whatever you’re most comfortable with!

Thanks Gary. Not satisfied with it though…far from ‘Perfect’….Ohhh the irony!🙄

Are we ever satisfied, Roger? A case of some words are better than staring at a blank page!

Yep!
I started with an idea, dug myself a hole, and suddenly it’s nearly posting time……
‘Oh squiddly-diddle!’ I said to myself (well I do…sometimes)

Here I am, far ahead of the deadline, so the sky is probably going to fall in.

Or, like me, the car battery dies. But like a Phoenix, my garage has replaced it. Never rains but it pours… which it has all day here meaning the cats are rabid with energy and accusing me of not turning the weather off 🙄

Ah, the routine: look out the back door, weather foul, check the front, weather equally foul, better check the back door again, hey just open it a crack so I can stick my head out, no, still foul, but I’ll stay here with the door open and watch to see if it changes.

Fortunately, it has now stopped, however, I have not passed this information to the cats yet. Having just cleaned the floor I deem this a wise move.

Ah. A floor, in need of a signature, or at least highlights, perhaps something abstract suggesting movement.
All of ours are currently resting, but Ginge has her eyes open and could clearly come and sit on my keyboard at any moment, whilst Piper has my chair in the conservatory and will not surrender that victory easily. Only Squeak remains unseen and unheard, but she’s 18+ and not as active as she once was.

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. Like Roger, I felt frozen by all the possibilities, so I followed my first thought!
Here’s mine for March (that’s three for three so far this year!): https://joshuainsole.com/short-stories/date-night/

Hmmm. So many possibilities. To be posted by the 22nd then……Hmmm…. To plot or to pants, there is the question…Definitely a Three-Day Problem requiring chocolate.
OK I’m done plagiarising.

It originally said the 2nd for some buzzard reason. Hey Ho, corrected that last night. Looking forward to what turns up for this one. Bit easier to decipher, maybe harder to choose the perfect angle.

Whatever turns up WP will not be the inspiration!

How very true. It just took me 20 mins to find the blasted set featured image settings!

Why spend money on on-line video computer games when you have WP to navigate and master?

That is a very good point. Not to mention, halfway through, my mouse batteries died too. Hey Ho. Still I’m now way ahead on prompts now 🤣

They would wouldn’t they?
Still, having the prompts under control makes up for it 😃

Very true. I think I’m about 3 ahead now so back to POI methinks.
