  1. Hey everyone, sorry I posted a story and then disappeared! It’s been a bit hectic getting everything ready for my honeymoon. I probably should have thought about that before posting a story. I think at this rate I’ll be responding to comments on my piece and reading all of your lovely stories sometime at the end of June, once we’re back! Until then, have a good one, and sorry again! 😊

    • No worries Joshua, priorities and all that. Congratulations (also late). My excuse is post-op recovery. Finally had my hernia done after 2.5 years of waiting. Enjoy the honeymoon too.

      • Oh dear, I hope you’re healing well, Gary! I had no idea you were having surgery, chalk that one up to my spotty presences and absences. A speedy recovery!

Thanks for the good wishes, Regina and I have a stack of books for the honeymoon, and a fair few King novels, too.😄

        • Had it a week last Tuesday. Getting easier but still sore and very bruised. Can’t lift anything over 5kg for ages though so bored silly. Still DS is at 45K haha

You’ll have to let me know re King novels I’ve read most of them 🥳🥳

          • I’m currently blaming exhaustion as we deal with the tail end(!) of the plague of rats in the greenhouse, get everything planted in the greenhouse, cope with foot-rot in the sheep (never had it before in 17 years of keeping sheep), and watering all the trees that went in a few weeks back, just before the current dry spell. (There’s no rain forecast here for at least another week.)
Later in the year, when all has quietened down, and I complete my sixth decade, I will give some thought to age amnesia. If I remember. 🙂
