Here’s mine this month:
After a couple of false starts, I decided it was time to do something silly again. Looking forward to how everybody else did!

Mad as a box of frogs stirred with a hot poker Abe. I’ve read it but have to log in to comment. An App thing apparently so I’ll do that later. Very amusing read though

OK, this is getting to be a habit, actually writing something.

Some habits are good ones Mark! Long may those continue to be cultivated!

It has really been one of those years. After three #BlogBattles in a row, I even found time today to mentioned it to people online…
And I’ve started doing Wordle again. Last time was May, which was a one-off after a long gap.
I might even go and write a bit more of my semi-stalled WIP.
Or post another cat picture.
My life is really buzzing this weekend.
Hmm, I feel a self-deprecating sarcasm storm starting. Time to put the kettle on. 🙂

Had one of those too. Wrote nothing at all for 12 months. Still avoiding the WIP by doing BB too. Although I now have an encyclopaedia of back story!
Speaking of felines I am locked into this very seat mucking about here by two of my own rescue cats 🥳

I’m going to blame my age, but I no longer seem to be able to do a 24/7 week-long slog and then still write. Now the the year’s major outdoor job is approaching completion and I don’t have to race the weather, I get to take the weekend off (or as off as is possible with livestock) and some actual writing can happen. 🙂
The cat scene is peaceful at this moment – one is holding down the sofa, another the bed and the third the conservatory, and all area asleep. That peaceful state will end in about half an hour.

Same here. Prefer a more relaxed work ethic nowadays. I know the feeling re cats too…not dissimilar to toddlers if memory serves 🙄

We never did the kids thing, but from my observations, three killers of a quiet life are raising children, keeping livestock and trying to run a business. So, once we did the downsizing and left corporate life, we hit two out of three.
