Q&A Time
Please take a moment to ask Melanie some questions in the comments section.
I think we considered having turkeys at one point, but decided not to. Our neighbours a half mile down the hill have a half dozen free-range wandering around the garden, which can be a bit startling.
I liked the bit of video in the shed with the chicks heading to the camera. We have a handful of hens and I ended up blogging about the “green welly effect” – once chicks are mobile they quickly learn that the thing wearing the green boots brings food and rush over.

Gary was one of my first blogging buddies, too! 🙂 What’s life like on a turkey farm, for someone who is clueless about both? Hard work, I imagine!

Proof what a small world it is when you got me started in the BB community, and now I also consider Gary one of my blogging buddies. 🙂 About the writing you plan for the future, do you imagine yourself always sharing how to see the positive, or does that outlook also provide roots you might work into a fictional story?

You are such a terrific supporter and inspiration! I do see myself continuing with positivity non-fiction, but eventually I would love to get some of my fiction out there.
