Egads, what a month that was. Still, better late than never. Not sure it’s assembled as I’d want, but hey ho. New prompt next week. And intriguing banter to peruse it seems. Hope alls well Rachael, will try and stay on top next month!

No worries, Gary. You work so hard with the Battle, and I appreciate you so much. I hope you’re month was okay and nothing unpleasant. ❤

I need to work harder Rachael. I missed the debate laid down by Doug, am behind on reading and here’s the new prompt already! Last month was OK, just really busy. My fault so I need to breathe more 💖

Take a breath and no worries. I figured after the strange school year ends you and I could have a discussion about BlogBattle and what we see ourselves facilitating in the future. I appreciated what both Doug and Josh had to say on the subject, and I’ve been thinking on what we can do to make sure our space is one where writers of every level and style feel welcome and challenged. Anyway, that’s a discussion we can have in July. June is going to be a busy one for me, so if July works for you too, we’ll definitely make big plans then! 🙂 I hope June is a good month for you, my friend!

Definitely. July sounds good. I did read the discourse and have cogitated on what was said even if I’m not one to air my thoughts openly on here. Not that there was a lot of point eons after the event…
Will no doubt touch base here a few times between then and now….as I have to read your story for Flute yet! I can’t remember the last time you had time to do one😂😂

I’m eager to hear your thoughts. I have so much respect for the gentlemen who shared.
It’s a SHORT one for me! 😀 I had a moment of inspiration and a desire to get it out before I lost it, so I’m glad I made the time. So much of it is making the time. I really need to be more purposeful.

Quality over quantity I assume then 😂. Seriously though, I totally expect it to be up to your normal standards so no pressure at all. Might just pop over right now in fact 😊

🙂 We’re okay too. Not out of school until June 19th. They’re still deciding how next school year will look, so other than starting the first week of September, we have no idea if it will be more from home, partial week, partial day…who knows. Anyway, Just working on book formatting and cover design projects for the rest of my time.

Whew, finally got there! Slowly — ever so slowly — getting on top of things. Not there yet, but I’m making progress on my to-do lists! 😀 Read a couple from last month’s but I’ve still got more to read! I’ll get there… On Gary’s advice, I thought I’d post my story here before I lose track of time even further and the remainder of May slips away from me. 🙂

Glad you followed Gary’s advice! He’s full of the good stuff. I appreciate him a ton! Now, I’ve added your story to our listing, but I’ll have to wait until later to delve in.

Gary really does have an endless well of fantastic advice and guidance — on both writing and blogging! I’ve learned so much by chatting and listening to him!

Yay! Got there this month. It might be a twisted tale of madness but what else would you expect at such times. https://mused.blog/2020/05/20/shui-feng/

I just came to look for this month’s prompt and realised I missed the entire month of April. Literally, an entire month slipped past. Wow, strange times indeed. Flute it is then 😉

Ha! I know just what you mean, Chris. It is just dawning on me that my kids have been out of brick and mortar school or almost two whole months now. I have no idea where April went.

Glad you are back! The days and months of the year are flying by in some strange place between curious dream and nightmare, it seems.

Strangely enough, the biggest stressor here is not covid, but the weather. We’re moderately isolated anyway, so lockdown has a minimal impact, but we’ve still not put our sheep into their summer pasture because the grass isn’t growing. We’ve got plenty of sun and far too little rain, so it’s a peculiar year all round.
On the plus side, I am starting to get more writing done again!

Oh, I hope the weather stars cooperating for you and your sheep. I’m glad things are too stressful where you are. That’s very good news. AND more writing is always a pleasure to hear!

Hi guys! I am so far behind this month, I still need to read everyone’s stories for last month! All a bit chaotic at the moment, just trying to stay afloat 😂 Hope you’re all well, I’ll be reading, catching up on comments, and writing this month’s story when I can squeeze the time in. Get on top of things, Joshua…
