Thanks to Joshua, I’ve taken a different tack this time. Not even sure it’s quite worked, but it’s been a while since I’ve been in this genre!

Another one of those words that made me have to think for a while, but hey, thinking’s good! Wishing everyone a belated Happy New Year!

Just added to the line up Abe and I owe you a few visits since NaNo!

That’s fine … I always did wonder why it was decided to have NaNo so close to the holidays. Aren’t we busy enough? 😉 Good luck on your writing this month!

Thanks Abe… speaking of NaNo…. we’re toying with setting up a BB NaNo camp. If you’ve not heard of those they run about three times a year outside the main event. Similar system except the writer sets their own target. I thought it might be fun to see if a few of us can have a bash. There will be a post about it shortly.

Sounds interesting! Not sure I can jump on it, but looking forward to seeing that post. It’ll give me something else to think about…!

I said that about NaNo proper and that went pear shaped! Just keep in mind targets in camps can be anything at all. Hopefully the post will help clear anything up if you’re not familiar with the camps.

Heck alive, I’m well behind Rachael sincere apologies and will be back in the game ASAP. Will schedule this shortly, but you may have noticed things aren’t tweeting right from mine at the moment. Image cards are being denied apparently, might be the theme which is also on the to do list. Hope alls well and you hit the new year running x

No worries, my friend!
I hadn’t noticed an issue with posting, Gary! Admittedly, I’m not as on top of things as I should be, though. What image cards are you referring to?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Hmm, when you tweeted my last story it didn’t display the image, just a greyed out box. I’ve used Twitters analytics page to test the URL and it’s failing to find the images all of a sudden. This time I’m using yours for the prompt as a featured image to check it’s not a sizing issue.
It’s now scheduled for tomorrow too.

how’d it go?

It tweeted first time so there must be an image size restriction. I’ll try resizing to match the ones you use and see if that works with other posts that have gone weird on me 😳
LikeLiked by 1 person
Okay! Let me know if that works! I’m curious. I noticed that some of the shared stories have the same or similar issues. But some of them just don’t have pictures on their blogs.

I thought I’d replied to this! Yes it worked…oh hang about you mean on my other posts…which means I did reply and got muddled here. Not had chance to double check yet, but will let you know for sure. I’ve also seen a lot of people having issues recently too.

Update, this months entry I used your image dimensions for the featured image. It seems to have tweeted right so there must have been changes made I wasn’t aware of. It’s also rescaled properly in my reader here too. I just need to work on text position next time to fix a minor issue now!

Hello, I haven’t done a story for the #BlogBattle for a long while but I had a response to the prompt word in my head this morning. https://o4fsbryntin.wordpress.com/2020/01/08/january-blogbattle-fiction-basket-case/

The same to you and yours Rachel. Hopefully I’ll do a few more through 2020, although I’m busier now, hence the slack output for 2019!

Haha, thanks Gary! Yes, I’m still trying to catch up after the excesses of Christmas and birthdays and whatnot… I still have to read yours from December! Feels like I’ve woken up from hibernation…

I know the feeling! Decembers post had you in mind as it happens. I mentioned a concept derived during an A to Z ages ago. That entry touched base with the key character waiting for his book(s) 🤔

Yes, I just finished reading that piece! Great stuff, Gary! 🙂 The Amanuensis is really intriguing.

Thanks Joshua. Theres a full alphabet of pieces with him in as you might be aware since I’ve mentioned the A to Z. I’ve read a few back recently and some I actually really like myself! 😳

When I have the time, I will definitely try and work my way through those! I’ve really liked what I’ve read of it so far, and I’d love to really dig deep into the world(s). As mentioned elsewhere, I’m getting snowed under at the moment. Feels like everything’s happening all at once!

I know the feeling… it’s why I call it life grab. I’m still procrastinating on new blog theme. When I’ve done it I’m hoping to signpost things so my writing doesn’t disappear down the blog roll. I think we could talk about world builds all day too if you like digging into them too!

I look forward to that — it’ll be easier for me to find your older works and have a read, as and when I can!
