Help with Housecleaning, 2019 #BlogBattle Participants!

It’s time to get stuff cleaned up in time for some virtual spring cleaning, battlers!

Untitled Design

With a new year and new battles, we need to get a list of this year’s participants for the page that will have links directly to the blogs and websites of those of you who participate regularly in the battle writing prompts.

Here’s what we need:

  1. Your writer name
  2. Blog/website name (if applicable)
  3. blog/website link directly to the category where your #blogbattle stories are on your page.
  4. a brief 1-2 sentence bio (if you would like one)

And that’s it! Pretty simple, right?

It would help me out a TON to get this info from you. Having this available on the BlogBattlers site makes it super easy for someone who likes your stories to easily find more by you.

Just put the info in the comments section of this post or use the contact form to email it to us. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Thanks for your help!

  1. I will do what I can here, but know that I suffer from technology incompetence; i.e. I have trouble with stuff others take for granted, like posting links and such. Lol!

I write as Lisa R. Palmer (more because L.R. Palmer was too often thought of as a male than because I want fame; though fortune I would happily accept).

    My blog is

I have a blogbattle category that I tag my stories with, but I have no idea how to link to that category specifically.

I am a seeker who never finds, a word collector who’s never satisfied, a spirit trapped in human flesh who struggles daily with Time and Space, and the reality they co-create. And I am certifiably β€œcrazy,” though happy to have that as my norm. And, in spite of the many voices appearing on my blog, my message remains consistently the same – we are all One, expressed in many forms.

Hope that’s enough to go on. 😁

    • I have an addundum I must add, since my previous comment might have sounded a tad bit disparaging toward the male gender. I have nothing against male writers at all; rather a resentment against those who presume I AM male because I too often rationalize my way out of some conundrum I’ve created with my words. Believe it or not, women are just as capable of using (or misusing) logic, when appropriate. We are philosophers as often as we are empaths, and most often a tragic blend of both… πŸ˜‰

      • I always work at imagining a world where women are mentally, psychologically and physically free to express themselves as they really are, not as functions within a patriarchy but as people of purpose. I guarantee that many societal problems we now face would not exist if women were equal partners in all of man’s civilization processes.

        • Maybe. I will say that from my Christian perspective, God did not create women lesser than men. He created them equally important to to fill the places of mind a body that man lacks on his own. The two genders and our thoughts/ways/feelings/logic are a complement to each other and do not compete but do complete. We are all created in the image of God with value beyond any outward or genetic difference. πŸ™‚

  2. Hi Rachael!
I’m new to the #BlogBattle with just the one entry so far, but I’m planning on writing many more. The prompt is a splendid idea – it’s great to see the diversity it produces.
    So, this is me:
    Jen Moore
    Blog/website name
This link will hopefully take you to my Blog Battle posts
I’m a mum of 3 boys, who was encouraged to write by friends and family, due to my daft sense of humour. According to my youngest son, I make boring things sound fun. Go me. So my blog is full of amusing posts about life in general, although the cat (who is full of fluffy attitude) is a main feature, along with the thick chickens and doolally kids.

  3. Your writer name:
    My name is Sha’Tara
    Blog/website name (if applicable):
    ~burning woman~
blog/website link directly to the category where your #blogbattle stories are on your page.
a brief 1-2 sentence bio (if you would like one)
“My name is Sha’Tara. I like imagining, dreaming and philosophy. My preferred style of writing, in that order, would be essay, short story, articles, novels and poetry. I read on a blog the other day that poetry is expressed in metaphor and commented that the reason my poetry sucks is I’ve never met a phor. I know, bad literary pun but a pun nevertheless.”

    • That’s great! I’m glad you’ll be coming back for more. πŸ™‚ I’ll get you added onto the new 2019 battlers page, soon to be updated on the blog. Looking forward to more stories from you, A!

  5. Hello, Bryntin from O4FS
I normally post my #BlogBattle posts here:

My blog is um… well, it’s not normally about anything as such. There’s fiction, verse, moans and groans and general larking about, sometimes all in one post if I feel like it. Hopefully entertaining though.
Oh, biography. I am a 51 year old male child from Cornwall, UK.

I hope that will suffice for you Rachael. πŸ™‚
