Alas I feel that is always the way Roger. Some sentient AI knows when the back up is lost, corrupted or forgotten… Still, I now know where the Meer Space Station is…. The Nemo Point. A cemetery of space junk and such like.

Thanks, Gary! That’s a real shame. Is that due to the numbers of people participating or is it too much to juggle?

Participation is down and I’ve pondered it for a while. Setting it up requires 24 images, labelling them in Canva and then duplication prompt and story posts. Not that hard but time consuming which is emphasised if numbers drop. I could modify it just to have the words in. Be a shame to lose it mind. Then again juggling is an issue.
Main reason is drop off in stories.

Yes, I understand completely. I’m sorry for my own abscences, too, for what it’s worth. It would be very sad to see #BB go, but we would all understand. This little writing community has meant a lot to me over the years – I don’t think I’d have stuck with it and improved as much as I have if it hadn’t been for you.
But all things must end, and if you do decide to bring it to a close, it’s been jolly good fun. We can always still engage on Reedsy, if you fancy giving that another spin?

Therein is the conundrum. BB gave me the massive backstory for DS. I don’t want to see it close down either. Still, not fully decided yet. I have tried this year to introduce quirky words and next year’s list is stacked with them. Some I can’t even remember the meaning of 🙄
