Lastminute.com strikes back. Sorry about the lapse Rachael. School closures and exam cancelled, working from home…terrible state of affairs. If you glance at mine there’s a paragraph in bold in the preamble. This is just an idea for a tag event I thought of after my diary extract (also in the preamble). Positive posts and mindfulness.
I digress,
Mines very much stream of consciousness and written today

I totally dropped the ball this last week. I’m sorry. My sister-in-law died in childbirth on Saturday, and I’ve been in a state. I wish I could say that a different way, but blunt is all I’ve got. 😦 Thank you for taking care of adding the stories. I appreciate it! I think that’s a very nice idea. More positive news and thoughts are a good thing, especially at a time like this. ❤

I’m so sorry to hear that Rachael. My sincere condolences to all involved. Amid this Covid pandemic that’s just so sad. Absolutely no need to apologise. I’ll keep on top of things this weekend and monitor the next prompt too. Take all the time necessary and if you ever need to vent then feel free. 💖

You and me both Joy! Will update this evening and try to catch up. Best quip I’ve seen thus far is…
Can we roll back to 2019, the 2020 update has a virus in it. 😳

Aw, thank you! I keep making excuses about being too busy to participate. I will not ignore your encouragement this month and will stop making excuses for not doing what I love. ❤ 🙂

March already? I could’ve sworn that NYE was just last week! 🤔 Finally got around to reading some of the February BB stories today — some really great ones! Looking forward to seeing what this word brings! 🙂
Here’s mine for the month, I have a feeling I’ll be revisiting this twisted little island again at some point in the future — I reckon there’s much more to tell! https://joshuainsole.wordpress.com/short-stories/the-repellers-of-boddi-craig/

Right?! March of 2020. I can’t believe we’ve already hustled through two months (and a leap year, no less). Did you have a favorite of the Feb stories you read?
The title of your story is intriguing!

Ah, I don’t know — there were so many good ones! A. E.’s was great, as was Doug’s. Gary’s was awesome, too. Chris’s tale of artwork gone wrong (or should that be right) was also amazing. Loved all the ones I read, to be honest! So many styles, so many good writers! I really like how much variation there is, truly something for everyone here at the BlogBattle. 🙂
Thanks! I hope you guys like it. I will definitely expand upon this universe in the future (provided the prompt word can be twisted in a way that fits!).

🙂 I must agree!
I think that’s one of the most enjoyable ways to use the prompt, trying to make it work in a WIP. 🙂

This I have just read and have not the time just now to comment properly so I’ll leave that until tomorrow Joshua. This one is certainly showing your writing skills way better now too. Just saying,
