To give us all a head start for the month, I’m going to do the words and genres by month instead of week. That way, if you’d like to write your stories ahead of time, or work and rework them before posting them on the given date, then you’ll have some extra time.
I’ll post February’s words and genres the last Monday of January and so forth each month. How does that sound? I think this will work out well, and I’ll always be reminding each week. There’ll be a link in the menu that will bring you to these posts too, so it will be easy to find the info! YAY!
January 10th THEME WORD: Resolved GENRE: Tall Tale Tall tale – humorous story with blatant exaggerations, swaggering heroes who do the impossible with nonchalance
January 17th THEME WORD: Thorn GENRE: Fan Fiction Fan fiction – fiction written by a fan of, and featuring characters from, a particular TV series, movie, or book

- Fairy tale – story about fairies or other magical creatures
